Kia ora whānau,
Only ten more sleeps until Ag Day – I hope everyone is feeling organised and prepared with the indoor entries and to take their animal into the ring.
We have gone through your feedback from last year and just wanted to let you know about some changes we are going to trial this year.
- We will go with a later start time of 10am – so animals can arrive from then – 10:30 we will start in the ring. (This will hopefully relieve the pressure for those that have to milk as well.)
- We will open the indoor exhibits BEFORE the cake auction / prize giving – PARENTS will please need to keep an eye on young children to ensure exhibits are not touched or damaged.
- And finally, we had a lot of feedback / suggestions / volunteering to bake so that we can sell individual sweet treats. SO …if you would like to send along some baking on THURSDAY 17th or FRIDAY 18th – we would happily accept it to sell.
A detailed info sheet will come home early next week.
