I trust you have all enjoyed a relaxing holiday break with your children and are looking forward to getting into term 2 tomorrow.
We look forward to having Whaea Philippa and Miss Mitchell back in our school, teaching in Kākano. Philippa will teach Mondays, Tuesdays and alternate Wednesdays. As you will know at the end of last term the country moved to Orange traffic light setting. Another update is expected this week coming. As a school we are pleased to have remained in good health last term, with Covid variants having minimal impact on the day to day operation of our school. We would like to remain in good health and as such we will be taking a cautious approach and will still be encouraging mask wearing indoors. We are pleased to be able to welcome parents back into the school grounds and ask that you wear masks only if you are entering buildings.
