I hope you have all had an awesome time with your children and are starting to think about getting ready for school on Monday!
It is such a short term and we are certain it will be a busy one so will attempt to put out as many reminders as we can without bombarding you with information!
Huge thanks to all those who donated grocery items to our Ag Day Hamper Raffle last term. We will be finishing these hampers on Friday so if you haven’t yet donated grocery items there is still time this week.
Animal entries for Ag Day were due in last term – we currently only have 9 entries – it would be lovely to have MORE! These lists will be finalised by Friday so PLEASE get entries in.
A reminder that SUNHATS are COMPULSORY in Term 4. No hat = sitting under the verandah. Please ensure your child’s hat is named to avoid sharing!
Coming up next week:
MONDAY:
We will welcome our new Room 3 teacher for Term 4, Ms Michelle Oleary with a mihi whakatau first thing at 8:30am. All welcome.

WEDNESDAY:
Class photos – ensure your children bring their most attractive smiles!
FRIDAY
MAC clubs will be starting – if you would like to take a small group of students each Friday for a 45 minute activity of your choice let me know today! Thanks to those wonderful people who have already offered to come in. Groups so far have been offered for rugby/touch, craft, gardening, ukulele, science experiments – can’t wait!

And finally help needed:
On Wednesday 21 October we will be hosting our local Rotary Group for a luncheon. Please let me know if you are free to help serve them lunch or if you are able to send along a plate of sweet or savoury finger food.

As another fundraiser for the school we have been invited to run a raffle each week at the Arapohue Bowling Club twilight bowls – let me know if you have any ideas for contributions/prizes.

And that is definitely enough for now – have a fabulous weekend. I look forward to seeing everyone on Monday.
